We all have a place we fall on the introvert/extrovert scale, and sometimes it can be difficult to know which one is most like you. Today we will be exploring what it means to be an introvert, extrovert, and ambivert!
While we all have certain areas we thrive in that can bring out ambivert tendencies, when you're an introvert at heart, you know it! People often think introverts hate socialising, but this isn't true. Introverts think socialising is great, but only for a limited amount of time and with people they know and trust. At the end of the day, being alone recharges their batteries and brings them peace.
Extroverts are bold and outgoing. They tend to move towards people and situations that put them at the centre of attention. Extroverts like to lead people and like it when others look to them for guidance and want to be in their company. Often, extroverts like to make friends with introverts, as they don't like to be sharing the spotlight with someone else!
Ambiverts have also been called, outgoing introverts, antisocial extroverts, and social introverts. Due to all these different names, you can see that ambiverts are a mixture between introverts and extroverts. Ambiverts love other people's company, but need their alone time. They can be outgoing when in the right environment, and enjoy working with others after they have already worked by themselves.
