Everyone's different, and one habit that suits you might not suit somebody else. Here are a few things that work for me that may work for you.
1. Take Your Time Eating
Most people eat their food so quickly, they don't take the time to enjoy it properly. Eating is one of our greatest joys as humans, so appreciate it! If you are someone who tends to eat fast, try slowing down slightly. You'll enjoy your food more and you're also likely to eat less. Unless you have to be out the door within 5 minutes and need to eat fast, it's ok to take your time.
2. Get Some Fresh Air
Up until about a month ago, I was absolutely fine with staying inside for days. However, now I make sure to get out of the house every day and it has been great. Breathe in some fresh air and get outside. There may be times when you are really not in the mood and want a day relaxing at home and that's ok, but try as hard as you can to at least go for a 10 minute walk.
3. Wake Up Positive
This one may be the most difficult! The mornings really do dictate what the rest of our day is going to be like, so it is always best to start them on a positive note. It is all down to you how you bring positivity into your mornings, but before you get out of bed, just think about one thing you are excited for during the day. It doesn't matter whether you wake up early or late, all the matters is you wake up happy.
4. Drink Water
Hydration is so important. You may not even realise you're not drinking enough water. Even if you don't feel that thirsty, still keep a glass of water on the go at all times. Drinking more water will give you so much more energy, a better complexion and it will also flush out toxins. If you haven't got a glass of water with you right now, take this as a sign to go and get some!
5. Be Grateful
Another one that can be quite difficult, always be grateful for the life that you have. Don't get me wrong, there will be days when you feel like your life is awful and you just want to stay in bed and cry, but there is always going to be something you have to be happy about. It doesn't matter what it is, but keep hold of it and remind yourself how beautiful life can be.
