Make The Best Of May

May can be such an underrated month. The last of spring, just before the summer kicks in. So, with the hot weather just around the corner, this is the perfect time to embrace everything that can be done.

I think it's safe to say, that for most of us, working out hasn't really been a priority lately. So, as we all hopefully start to slowly get back to normal, there isn't a better time to try and get healthier. Working up a sweat everyday (big or small) does wonders for the body and for the mind. Going to the gym obviously isn't going to happen, but luckily, there are plenty of online workouts just waiting for you to try.

Learn What's Going On In Your Area

As I said before, things will hopefully be getting back to normal as soon as possible, so make the most out of life and learn about everything that you can do once it is safe to do so. It felt like we would never get to this point, so now that we are nearly at the finish line (with hope), having exciting plans to look forward to is a great idea. Just go online and find out all the things happening.

Get Out Of The House

This is honestly a really important step. Many people I've talked to have been too scared to leave the house (understandably and in most cases, rightly), but by gradually getting out, even if it's just for a quick walk, will help to get you feeling normal again and ready for whatever is to come. Also, walking can help with getting your workout in, and fresh air always makes you feel better.

Coming from someone who is definitely not a natural planner, this really does help when thinking about a future for after lockdown. Talk to friends and come up with fun things to do that you'll look forward to, or even just things that you want to do that you've never gotten the chance yet. By planning for everything exciting in the future, it will feeling amazing once it arrives.

Watch TV

Yes, this is contrasting number 3, but this is the perfect time to just squeeze in another show to binge! There have only been a couple of reasons to enjoy being stuck indoors, and catching up on TV has definitely been one of them. Before hectic daily life starts again, watching one more gripping show that you can put your undivided attention towards is a great idea.
