Overall, it's absolutely fine to ask whatever questions you like during your tarot reading, however, there are difficult questions for your reader to answer. Tarot is about getting guidance into what is going on in your life now, and can't tell you the future. Therefore, here are some questions that are best not to ask during a tarot reading.
'When will I meet my soulmate?'
This is a great example of a question not to ask. Your tarot reader will not be able to give you a specific date as to when you will meet someone/get a new job/go on holiday! Instead, opt for a question like 'What steps can I be taking to meet someone new?'. By talking about ways that you feel comfortable meeting people, you will be much better prepared for what is to come.
'How does (another person's name) feel about me?'
If this person isn't actually here to tell you how they feel in person, how is your tarot reader going to know? It's completely understandable when people want to know what is going on in another person's mind, but this isn't something tarot can answer. Instead, ask a question similar to 'How can I deal with (another person's name's) actions?' This way you are talking about you, which is much more helpful.
'Does my future look good?'
Finally, this is a question tarot readers get asked a lot and is very difficult to answer. As mentioned before, tarot readers can't see the future. I know this is a question that everyone wants the answer to, but honestly the best answer is, try not to worry about the future so much and just enjoy the present. If things aren't going the way you want them to, then you know it is time to make a change.
