Self-Care Oracle Cards Part 3

Part 3 of The Sacred Self-Care Oracle deck involves many different ways to include self-care in your daily routine. From deep breathing when feeling stressed, to remembering to stay hydrated, there are so many little things we can all do to take care of ourselves just that little bit better.

Energy Work

Receiving Energy Work is a sign to clear away any negative energies and focus on the love in your life. There are 7 chakras that you can work on, (root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown) each with a different way to activate it. If you don't know what they mean, look them up and figure out which ones you think may need some more work.

Ground Yourself

When Ground Yourself appears in your reading, you must remember that you are grounded, strong and stable. Some people like to take a walk in nature in order to feel grounded again, or meditate for a while. If you find yourself needing to feel more grounded, find out what works for you, as it is different for everyone. Feeling grounded helps us feel like ourselves and ready to take on the day.

Health Check-Up

Health Check-Up is all about remaining healthy in your body, mind and spirit. If you listen to your body, it often tells you what you need to be working on. Whether you must rest in order to heal a physical wound, or if your mind needs working on after a stressful day. Take care of every aspect of your body, as it does so much for you. Remember to not keep your worries inside, let other people help you as well.


Receiving hydrate is a sign to remember that we are made of water and must stay hydrated in order to live our best lives. Work out if you are drinking enough water and if not, what you can do to upgrade your hydration. Drinking more water helps with energy levels, clears the skin, and keeps the mind more active. Whether it's still, sparkling, or flavoured, get drinking!

Dream Journal

When Dream Journal appears in your reading, it wants you to remember your dreams and use them to learn more about yourself. If you have had any memorable and powerful dreams lately, write them down and figure out what lessons you can learn from them. By understanding what we are dreaming, we can learn more about how we are feeling during this time in our lives.

Deep Breathing

Deep Breathing is all about stopping for a second and taking a deep breath in order to calm your mind and make any decisions based on love. Before making any big choices, take a deep breath and relax. We often just use shallow breaths to get through our days, but every now and then, we need to focus on our breathing and clear the mind. Deep breathing automatically calms and centres us.

Drink Tea

Receiving Drink Tea is a sign to take in some inspiration and enjoy the beauty all around you. When you drink tea (or any other beverage that you enjoy) and take the time to savour it without any distractions, you are able to appreciate all of the flavours and can focus on any feelings that arise with them. Make sure to create time to have your comfort drink and really enjoy yourself.


When Family appears in your reading, it wants you to remember the unconditional love in your life and share it with the people you see as your family. If there are any problems that you have with your family, let yourself work through them in whatever way you are most comfortable with. When you are happy being around you family, focus on the feelings that arise.

Flow Like Water

Flow Like Water is all about giving thanks for the water that you are surrounded by. Water is something that has many uses (food and drink, showering, swimming) and people often use it to wash away any stresses of the day. How do you feel when you are in water? Use the calming nature of water to help relax you and take you to your happy place.
