Self-Care Oracle Cards Part 6

Today is the last part of our exploration of The Sacred Self-Care Oracle deck. These oracle cards are wonderful to use in readings, as they show how we can all be incorporating more self-care into our daily routines. Remember to love and take care of yourself.

Spend Time With Friends

Receiving Spend Time With Friends is a sign to get yourself surrounded by people who show you nothing but love. Friendships that are worth having are the ones that make you feel better when you are in their company, and when you leave it. You always know if a friendship isn't right if you feel worse about yourself after seeing them. Spend time with your best friends and have fun!


Sync With The Moon

When Sync With The Moon appears in your reading, it isn't actually about syncing with the Moon! It is all about embracing the flow of life and understanding that there may be times that aren't so great, but there are also times that are going to be wonderful. There are many cycles of life and things are constantly changing. Make sure you don't resist the next phase of your life.


Sweet Treat

Sweet Treat is a wonderful card to get, as it is all about the sweetness of life! If you take it literally, this card wants you to indulge and have all of the delicious sweet treats that you want. It can also mean indulging in the non-food related sweet treats of life. Do the things that make you happy and that you don't feel guilty about. Sweetness is all around you, as long as you look out for it.


Use Your Hands

Receiving Use Your Hands is a sign to create magic from scratch. Get creative and make a masterpiece! When we are immersed in a project, we often forget about any troubles that may have been getting us down. Distractions aren't always the best way to go, but if you can take any negative thoughts out of your mind just for an hour, then make sure you do.


Spend Time With Animals

When Spend Time With Animals appears in your reading, it can mean a couple of different things. Literally, it means spending time with your animals and getting an extra boost of Oxytocin (the feel-good hormone that increases when you stroke your pet). If can also mean connecting with your spirit animal, for example if it's a lion, you may want to invite more courage into your life.


Write A Gratitude List

Write A Gratitude List is one of the most important cards in the deck. We often get so caught up in the negatives of life that we forget about all of the things we are grateful for. Writing a gratitude list every once in a while is a wonderful way to remind ourselves of all of the amazing things we have in our lives. Focus on the good and soon the good will take over.


Soak In A Bath

Receiving Soak In A Bath has a pretty obvious meaning! This card wants you to fully relax and let the healing waters restore you. If you are more of a shower person, this card still applies as it is all about relaxing in the water and being in the moment. Don't rush to the next part of your day, be still for this moment and get lost in your thoughts. Unwind and chill.


Sound Healing

When Sound Healing appears in your reading, it wants you to listen to the sounds around that put you at ease. Whether this be listening to the sounds of nature, or to music that always gets you in a good mood. Listen to the rhythms that heal you and keep you relaxed. There is always time to stop for a few minutes and let the sounds that you connect with take over.


Take A Walk

Take A Walk is all about getting out in nature and doing something that is good for your mind, body, and soul. When you go out for a walk, it is easier to release what is no longer serving you. This simple self-care practise helps you get some exercise into your routine, clears your mind, and allows you to have some peace away from the hectic way of life.


Watch A Movie

Finally, Watch A Movie has another obvious meaning! Watching a movie, or tv show, is a simple way of letting yourself know that you are worthy of relaxing. Putting something great on the tv is a wonderful way of unwinding and transporting your mind somewhere else. Immersing yourself in fantasy is a great stress reliever and can get you feeling more energised for what is to come.
