Zodiac Spotlight - Virgo

Today's spotlight is all about the sixth sign of the zodiac...Virgo! As we are also now in Virgo season, there are so many great facts about this grounded zodiac sign. Virgos are one of the most interesting Earth signs, as they have the stable qualities of Earth, but share a ruling planet with Gemini, making them social people who love a good gossip! Let's find out more about these vibrant Virgos...

Virgos are extremely humble and don't let much go to their heads. On the outside, you may only see them as practical and modest, but there is so much more to them. Virgos are naturally kind and are sympathetic to other people's needs. You may find that Virgos get stressed easier than others, as they have so much mental energy that it can cause them to feel tense.

The Maiden

Virgos are represented by the maiden who is commonly seen carrying a sheaf of wheat. Virgo is the largest constellation of the zodiac and is the only sign represented by a woman. The maiden symbolises fertility, agriculture and purity. This shows Virgos calm nature and the fact that they are seen as pure to many people. Virgos love to create something out of nothing.

There are many celebrity Virgos, some that you may already be aware of (Zendaya and Beyoncé!) and some that may be a surprise. Blake Lively, Chris Pine, and Jack Black are all famous Virgos ruled by the maiden. Virgos have a certain aura about them, as they shine bright and live life to the fullest. They are very aware of their surroundings and like to make a good impression. Not to mention, they have a great sense of humour!

In a Relationship

Virgos are often slow when falling in love. They are usually the conservative ones in a relationship and are very careful about giving their heart away to the wrong people. Virgos benefit from having a more direct and outspoken partner that will bring them out of their shell. They appreciate honesty and openness in a relationship and don't care for unusual flirting styles.

Lucky Charms

Virgos are typically drawn to practical symbols. For example, the evil eye, fruit-shaped symbols, and White Jade are all lucky charms for them. Virgos are also associated with spices like cinnamon and ginger, possibly because they start the autumn season. Crystals like Agate and Amazonite are great to use for a Virgo and colours such as gold and orange are known to be the luckiest for them.
